You choose your session times! We’ll work out times that work best for you.

Join me in my home studio in Cahaba River Estates in Hoover, AL. In this 3 session, one-on-one class, I’ll teach you all the basics of wheel-throwing, and more. I’ll give demos, coach and guide you at every step of the throwing process, and give you time to practice.

Because these are one-on-one sessions, I can meet you precisely at your level of experience. If you’ve always wanted to try clay, but haven’t had the chance, great! I’ll provide you with all the steps and help to throw your first pots. If you’ve done wheel-throwing in past, but it’s been awhile, great! We’ll refresh, get you right back into it, and see how many new skills we can develop.

A loose outline of the sessions:

Session 1 - learning/practicing throwing on the wheel

Session 2 - continue practicing the wheel OR learn trimming/handling/surface design

Session 3 - glaze pieces

I’ll take the pieces through the firing processes. The pieces will be complete and ready for pick-up in 3-4 weeks.

This class is limited to 1 student per session.

This class is for ages 16+ (minors must have guardian present).

After registering, you will receive an email from me to coordinate session times. We can do all 3 session in one week, weekday evenings, a weekend times, or whatever times work best for your schedule!
